These terms govern your use of Theravada Daily (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Theravada Daily is a personal practice-tracking tool for Theravada Buddhist practitioners — it helps you log daily, weekly and monthly practices, track streaks, log special-day observances, and optionally sync that data across devices. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official resource of any temple, monastic order, or Buddhist institution, and nothing in the App is a substitute for guidance from a qualified teacher or monastic.
You agree not to:
Any practice names, notes, or other information you enter remain yours. By syncing data to our cloud database (only if you sign in), you grant us the limited right to store and transmit that data solely for the purpose of providing the sync feature to you. We don't use your content for any other purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Theravada Daily and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including data loss on your device. Keep in mind that guest (non-signed-in) data lives only on your device and isn't backed up anywhere.
The App relies on third-party services (Google Sign-In/Firebase, OpenStreetMap, and, if you choose, your device's map apps) as described in the Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of those third-party services.
We may update these terms as the App changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to cloud sync features for accounts that violate these terms.
